Triple Bottom Line: This startup is rare in that its founder wants to give most of his own profits to help the planet and prevent war and other atrocities, thereby being perhaps the first startup in the world to really join love with justice and the planet.

RESEARCH DUTIES:
Here are just a few of the possibilities: [DO NOT WORRY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO SOME OF THESE. YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO DO ALL]

• Developing (or finding) list in lay language of most common complaints (actual language clients use) voiced by men and women when they present their initial complaint or issue to their therapist

• Helping the founder to form a small focus group of experienced therapists to review our proposed web application’s “therapeutic path”. This would be done by watching a PPT version of all its tools and how most of them will work, and commenting on this “therapeutic path” critically. The goal: specifically to discover if there are any key processes we left out or obstacles we have overlooked that are fixable/addressable using this Internet approach.

* doing Survey research to determine what percentage of couples are unhappy (to various degrees) in their relationships, and features they would most want in an Internet application; or once we have our beta, doing one on one or Focus group research to test out usability

• Compiling list of behavior agreements mates make to help their relationships

• Compiling essential aspects of various schools of effective marriage therapy strategies

• Find and systematize best User Interaction, Psychological exercises/processes, and marketing practices of other marriage help sites; organized into excel

• Grow and maintain therapist advisor relationships via phone & email and conference calls

• Internet research to identify best articles, experts, and videos on conflict resolution, empathy training, and other relationship skills;

Help recruit or run focus groups, do surveys one on one (or one with a couple), with people unhappy in their relationships

HOURS: 15-30 hrs per week (the more, the better) and since we need someone urgently now, we will take whatever hours you can do to start, though need at least 2hrs daytime, at least 4ds per week. START DATE: The sooner, the better.

COMPENSATION: Negotiable. More details when you contact us. Level will depend on milestones you achieve, our level of subsequent funding or subscription income (whichever first), etc.

Requirements:
• Proficient in Internet research and making short followup calls
• Be willing to call me frequently with problems, suggestions, updates, progress
• Be willing to work remotely (residence, starbucks, etc…)
• For Writer/Blogger: Excellent writing skills

Desirable
• Passionate about the art & science of couple relationships with the pursuit of justice
• Good at networking (phone, email, conferences, and facebook)
• Able to get college credit
